Manual transport also creates floor traffic conflicts between personnel and heavy loads — a persistent operational risk in airport apron support, manufacturing assembly lines, and distribution warehouses.

The TBO AGV range covers the full spectrum of internal transport needs — from 700 kg platform carriers through to 25,000 kg tow tractors — under a consistent control architecture: Siemens S7-1200 PLC, PID with dual processor and triple supervision, WiFi/GPRS communications. Guidance uses magnetic or optical tape applied directly to the floor surface, allowing circuit modification without structural works or extended downtime.

Rapid installation, minimal infrastructure impact

Circuit installation uses magnetic or optical adhesive tape applied directly to the floor. No civil works, no dedicated lanes, no structural modifications required. Circuit layout can be modified or extended rapidly when operational needs change, without production stoppages.

Continuous, unattended operation

AGV platforms operate 24/7 without operator intervention, executing pre-programmed routes across shift changes. Load capacity, route, speed, and action triggers are defined in advance — eliminating throughput variability from manual transport cycles.

Multi-layer safety architecture

Each unit integrates SICK laser obstacle scanning, emergency stop pushbuttons, and audio-visual presence alerts. Platforms share floor space with personnel without dedicated exclusion zones, reducing facility modification requirements.

Centralized fleet management and traceability

All units communicate via WiFi/GPRS with a centralized management system for configuration, monitoring, and route management. RFID tags embedded in the floor circuit define action points, enabling full load movement traceability across the facility.
